The Apostolic Church derives its identity from the book of The Acts of the Apostles.  We endeavor to be committed to the apostles' doctrine, fellowship, and prayer.

(Acts 2:42, Ephesians 2:19-20)

The Apostolic Church of Mexico has been under the leadership of Pastor David Willhoite and his wife, Bobbi since 1991. Their love and compassion for the people and communities of Western Maine has grown stronger through the years.

Pastor and Mrs. Willhoite are devoted to being led by the Word and Spirit of God. Their vision and the mission of TAC is to make Jesus visible and connect people to Him through prayer, worship, fellowship, discipleship and evangelism.

We Believe...

  • The Bible is the infallible Word of God (as validated by science, medicine, history, archaeology and personal experience).
  • God is one. (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 10:30)
  • Jesus is God. (Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:21+23; John 1:1+14)
  • "Jesus" is God's name. (Zechariah 14:9; John 5:43)
  • The 'good news' (gospel) is that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
  • Every individual has access to the benefits of this 'good news' if he will identify with it through repentance, baptism, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. (A pattern illustrated in the Old Testament Tabernacle; Acts 2:38+39)
  • To be 'born-again' means to the be baptized of both water and Spirit. (John 3:3-5)
  • Baptism of water must be in Jesus' name. (Acts 2:38, 4:10-12)
  • The baptism of the Spirit is our Sabbath rest and that speaking with other tongues will be the external evidence of the inward baptism. (Isaiah 28:11-12; Acts 2:1-4)
  • It is the responsibility and duty of every born-again individual to be 'salt and light' (Matthew 5:13-14) and to continuously develop and grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18) so others may see the results of the 'good news' (1 Cor 15:5-8) which is Jesus in them. (John 14:17; Colossians 1:27)
